"The songs are teeming with catchy passages and ingenious hooklines, which have been packed into such unique song structures that each time one embarks on a wonderful journey to explore a fascinating piece of music history that is difficult to put into words."
- Thomas Müller, Kobzr Magazine

Three years in the making

During the writing process of Resurrection, new ideas began to burst very quickly. The band already was playing the songs on Resurrection live and opted to keep this new material mostly a secret for the time being. A desire to add some extra spice to their setlist, Sirakh unveiled the first half of Crisis of Faith in 2017 at Elokuolema II: Heart of Fire, Downfall, their cover of Killing Joke's Love Like Blood, Mirrors and The Devil's Mark. These new songs received an enthusiastic welcome.

the band would spend the majority of the years '17, '18 and '19 working on new material while also playing a select few gigs in Oulu area. Admittedly, the band did attempt to tour their homeland further, but was ignored by almost each and every single club imaginable. 'cept for a club in southeastern Finland that kindly told the band to "fuck off".

The reason to their slow pace was very simple: The band suffered from a seriously revolving door at the time and it was hard to rely on a constantly changing lineup. Also, the band worked on the demos meticulously in order to capture their vision as truthfully as possible.

Introducing: Third Incarnation

After a successful year, things seemingly began to fall apart. The pressure for this record was high, which ultimately made the band's dynamic suffer. as a direct result, Vlad informed that he would leave the band by the end of 2017. This was a major blow for the band and they would play live only once in 2018, at Metallifestarit or "Metal Festival" '18 in Oulu alongside some of the biggest mainstream acts in Finland. The majority of the event consisted of well-respected underground bands and there were a couple of local acts as well.

Following Vlad's departure and arguably the most difficult year in the band's history. Benedict Shiverus also announced his departure in late 2018, but demanded to play with the band for one last time. This occured at Kokardi-Klubi in Oulu, in June 2019. His replacement. an old bandmate of Nikki's from the melodeath band Discriminated called Padre Mortis, made his live debut on the same day. This new lineup would perform live in July 2019 at Syynirock, in an undisclosed location.

This too would only prove to be a temporary solution, since in early 2020 Sirakh unveiled yet another new addition to the team. A female lead called Marina Trench to accompany Vlad's screaming. Sirakh went on to record a live version of Yours For the Breaking in January, and Crisis of Faith in May 2020 as a sextet.
