“Resurrection esittelee neljä kunnianhimoista nuorta miestä, jotka uskaltavat olla kokeellisia kuitenkaan unohtamatta raskaan rockin juuria. Bändi on hieno yhdistelmä nuorta intoa ja huomattavaa lahjakkuutta.”

The difficult firstborn

After the first incarnation of Sirakh broke up by the end of 2014, the band would lay dormant for about half a year. In that time, there was a surge of worldwide traffic on the first two singles, Eden (on Fire) and Early Grave. Still friends and in semi-regular contact, on one of their meetings Nikki informed Shiverus of these new streams by the thousands and the two considered the possibility that there was something more to their music, a little more potential than what they originally managed to realize.

It took a few more meetings for the pair to eventually decide to try again, but with a revamped lineup. After the first incarnation failed, most of the band retired from music altogether. Riina went on to become a cosmentologist, Hanney Blood became a model, Martin Fox pursued his passions of cooking and Damian Craynes became a bartender and an off-again/on-again writer.

Introducing: Second Incarnation

As they were considering to bring in new talent, Nikki knew exactly who to call: two of his old Æviator buddies, Dimitry Bonefield and Vlad Lehemski. Dimitry graciously accepted the request and would later on become a key member of the band. Vlad was a little more reluctant, but agreed to play bass live. He too would join full time after the band's first gig at a packed youth Café Bysis in the heart of Oulu. The band would perform at the first and second years of the, at the time of writing this now-defunct, Elokuolema club festival in Oulu, headlining the latter year. By the end of 2016, the band set out to record resurrection, their first music release since breaking up.

Released on February 10 2017, Resurrection attained some minor success in the local music circles and beyond. Beneath Me and the single Be Mine would become live staples to this day of the band's career. The group itself considers this a mediocre release, though. It set the groundwork for what's about to come, but the production was rushed and some of the songs weren't necessarily as good as they could be. Eventually Eden and Venomous Skin would be dropped from post-2017 setlists altogether, but Early Grave remained as an occasional reminder of the good old days.

The second incarnation lasted up until the june of 2019 when Benedict Shiverus announced his departure from the band. Vlad had left the group a year and a half prior. These two were to be replaced by DJ Casey Chaos (also from Æviator) on bass, and old friend of Nikki's called Padre Mortis (From Discriminated) replacing Benedict Shiverus and a new female addition. First of her kind since 2014.
